Custom Fields - Tailor Abuse Reports With Custom Data And Build Stronger Cases

iQ's focus is always to improve customer experience and to provide them with tools that enhance their daily work.  To this end, our team has been hard at work adding new features and functionality to iQ Abuse Manager.

To meet the unique needs of each customer we serve, one of the big additions to this update is the ability to add custom data to any case.

To provide additional flexibility, you will be able to add multiple types of data in custom data fields.

Data such as customer IDs, server IPs, information from forensic financial services and any other data from within your organisation or trusted 3rd party can be added.

These custom fields will be available throughout iQ Abuse Manager. From the main cases view, to the domain case detailed view, and later on within reports and statistics.

Offering our customers a deeper insight into each case, and allowing them to action cases even quicker.

Coupled with our customisable rulesets, this updated provides a powerful combination in the monitoring and mitigation of abuse.

As the following examples suggest.

Example 1: Various feeds report a number of domains. As soon as a case is created, an automatic ruleset is run. The ruleset checks against credit card fraud custom data. The ruleset finds that 6 out of 10 are flagged with "stolen card" . The ruleset runs its instruction to call an API and place the 6 domains on clientHold immediately.

Example 2: An agent reviews a case and sees that a custom fields, "registered date", shows the domain as being a few years old. This suggests someone has compromised the customer's website or account. Another custom field contains the customer's account ID. The agent can communicate this to other departments to investigate and action.

Example 3: A selection of domains are reported for Phishing. An automatic ruleset immediately increases the case's priority and emails an agent. They can filter or group cases by "Customer ID", "Server IP" or any other relevant custom information. Allowing them to action the cases.

Time is a critical resource.

The inclusion of custom data will further reduce the time to decision making. Ensuring efficient actioning of legitimate cases.

And improving time management.
